Library Telescope
Early in 2017, the Leominster Public Library
received a gift of a new 4.5” Orion Starblast reflecting
telescope, courtesy of the Aldrich Astronomical Society.
The gift was made possible thanks to the generosity of
Leominster Access Television and the Aldrich Astronomical
Society's Adopt-a-Library Telescope program.
This gift allows the Library to loan the
telescope to library patrons just as we would a book, DVD,
or other item in our collection. The Aldrich Astronomical
Society will help the Library maintain the instrument in
good working order.
